CUH Adult Trauma Module – Pelvic Trauma

Learning Goals:

• Apply a structured CABCDE approach to patients with pelvic trauma.
• Recognize immediately life-threatening pelvic injuries during the primary survey.
• Initiate emergency management, including pelvic binder application and massive transfusion.
• Interpret investigations (Pelvic X-ray, CT, eFAST) accurately.
• Identify associated injuries (GU, GI, and vascular) and recognize common clinical pitfalls.
